What Are They?

Automatic power controllers that divert excess energy to a heating system rather than exporting excess generation back to the grid

How Do They Work?

A grid current sensor monitors power use and automatically increases the Diverter's output voltage when a PV system is generating more power than is being used

What Do They Need?

Usually paired with an immersion water heater, they can also be paired with batteries, storage heaters, under-floor heating, towel rails, electric radiators etc.
